What is a P1.5 indoor LED screen?
A P1.5 indoor LED screen has pixels about 1.5 mm apart – around 444,000 pixels per square metre. It is the entry point to fine-pitch screens: sharp enough for meeting rooms and premium retail, at a noticeably lower cost than P1.2 or P0.9.
It is a good choice when people stand or sit 1.5 to 3 metres away and you want text and faces to look smooth. P1.5 is available as standard SMD or as COB, the sealed, deep-black option for close viewing.
How far away should viewers be?
A simple rule: the closest comfortable viewing distance in metres is about the pixel pitch in millimetres. For P1.5 that is about 1.5 m (4.9 ft), and the picture keeps looking good out to about 15 m.
Pick P1.2 if viewers are closer than 1.5 m, or P1.86 and P2 if they are usually 2 m or more away.
