How to choose the right outdoor pixel pitch
The pixel pitch is the distance between pixels in millimetres. The closest comfortable viewing distance in metres is about the pitch number: P5 looks sharp from about 5 m, P10 from about 10 m. Shop fronts and plazas usually need P4 or P5; roadside billboards P8; very large highway billboards P10.

Outdoor screens need many times the brightness of indoor screens to stay readable in the sun, plus sealed modules and cabinets.
