What is a P5 outdoor SMD screen?
A P5 outdoor SMD screen has pixels 5 mm apart – 40,000 pixels per square metre. It is one of the most popular outdoor pitches in Pakistan: sharp enough for shop fronts and plazas, and economical enough for medium-size billboards.

How far away should viewers be?
A simple rule: the closest comfortable viewing distance in metres is about the pixel pitch in millimetres. For P5 that is about 5 m (16.4 ft), and the picture keeps looking good out to well beyond 10 m.
Choose P4 if people pass within 4–5 m, or P8 for billboards seen from 8 m or more.
Resolution: how many pixels do you get?
A P5 screen has 40,000 pixels in every square metre. Each 320 × 160 mm module holds 64 × 32 pixels (2,048 per module). Brightness and weather protection
